Is a Macbook or iMac more reliable?

My laptop is on the verge of breaking and I am looking into buying a new computer and I need to know if a Macbook Pro or iMac is more reliable. Any help?

    Don't get a Mac. Unless you like paying two grand for a shinny apple on the case....Go with ASUS, you will save a lot of money and you will be able to outperform most Mac's out there.

    Well both are really but it all depends on if you want to

    use a laptop in your house as well as

    being able to take your laptop out when you go places. Or if you want a IMAC for using

    only inside your house?
