Picnic areas (MA, NH, VT.. etc)?
Hello,
I am looking for a picnic area around the area of MA, NH and VT. The group is going to be around 50 people and we want a place where it seems like there is alot of people. Something similar to hopkinton national park in MA. If there is a list, that would be great. Thank you for your help.

I would get in touch with all the state parks and see what each one has to offer. You will want to fine one where there are things to do, playground, cook out, hiking, picnic table with overhead covers in case of rain. Call the Town of Wakefield, Ma. There is a beautiful Lake Quannapowitt right in the center of town. There is a pl ayground there, sidewalks around the lake, maybe swimming area. I know they have craft fairs there, so maybe you can get a permit to have a picnic there.

Wallum Lake in Douglas, MA is great. It looks almost like a camp site with trees, many picnic tables, charcoal grills, a beach/lake for swimming, grassy area to play ball.

Odiaon state park ( its in New Castle or Portsmouth NH) or the state park in New Castle, it overlooks Portsmouth Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean.
