Check engine light, 06 Trailblazer?
The check engine light on my 2006 Trailblazer is on. The local repair shop replaced the vent valve twice and the light is still on. The local Chevy dealer is 40 miles away and I don't have a half-day to drive it down there, wait and drive back. Last winter I put $2,000 because the 4wd wasn't working. I don't have a lot of extra money to keep dumping in this vehicle that has 46,000 miles. I am really angry at GM at this point.

I think I would be more angry at the local repair shop for replacing the vent valve twice & the light still on!!!!!! What code are you getting???? Have they even use the Evap Cart & injected smoke into the system yet or just guess it is this part???? To be honest, not sure GM is the blame since they didnt replace the parts. Things do break down, doesnt matter if you owned a GM vehicle or a Import. I seen them all break down
