Good survival horror games for psx?
In the mood for early survival horror games, just got a ps1 emulator, so I need some games. I already know Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Clock Tower. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Well for one Resident Evil 1 was the first game to be coined the term Survival Horror, and two Silent Hill isn't even based on action.

Two that I really enjoyed for PS1 aside from what you've already mentioned are Dino Crisis and Galerians. Neither are really up to the level of say the first RE and SH games but they are both still very good in my opinion. Another love of mind that isn't necessarily straight up survival horror but still definitely has elements of it is Parasite Eve. They're are two in the series, both are good. Though if you have to pick one certainly go with the first as it's the better of the two. You should really check it out. Assuming you haven't already that is.
BQ - Silent Hill 2.
BQ2 - I love both for different reasons. For me though you just can't beat the atmosphere of the early Silent Hill games so I have to go with it.

Silent hill: The scariest game on psx. Resident evil 3: The best survival-horror game on psx. Try "Countdown Vampires". Nice game. It's on psx.

Alone in the dark new nightmare was good, an Re1 kinda feel with some atmosphere elements, not as good but a good fix if ur still looking. Count down vampires wasnt all that bad but not that great either. Galerians is awesome but not as scary. Steer clear of vampire hunter D, a frustration instead of scary. Clock tower is scary, but snes one was scarier.
Silent hill, ran from a ghost baby for ten min before i realized it couldnt hurt me

Resident Evil and Silent Hill are NOT survival horror games, they are action horror games.
Games like Clock Tower, Amnesia, and Deadly Premonition are survival horrors.
