How can you possibly belive in god!?

I want to start this answer by saying that I am Roman Catholic, but I am 15 years old, and my views are my own, they are not the same as all other Catholics, this is solely an explanation of my personal faith. I understand that there are evils in this world that could make it hard to believe in a God, I have lost people I love, I have suffered from a potentially crippling joint disorder and I have seen evils on the news, in history books and in the lives of others around me, but if anything, these things have only strengthened my faith. When I lost an aunt to Multiple System Atrophy I saw and felt immense grief, but I believe it was God who helped me and my family through that grief. I felt the pain of my hip constantly dislocating as it's blood supply was cut off, and the pain of my surgery an physiotherapy, but my treatment was new and experimental, and now other people who suffer from my disorder can be helped as well, because it was God who was (indirectly perhaps) responsible for my doctors helping me. When I see starving children on the television, I know that it is God who drives people to start charities.

As for there being so many different faiths, I only know that there is a God, and that God is loving, and that God wants me to be a good person and do his work, I don't know if the Bible is correct, or accurate, and I don't believe that two people eating an apple is responsible for evil (many Catholics don't - this account is widely believed to be a story told to help teach people that greed is bad) but I do believe that in going to church I can make a closer connection to God, and that Catholic do make it easier for me personally to be a better person. I disagree with some of the church's teachings, such as those against homosexual marriage, or women priests, but I know that one day, God will fix these wrongs, and he will do so using people as his instruments. No one has told me these believes, my parents have not raised me to believe that God works in this way, they have simply taken me to church when I was a child, and allowed me to make the decision to continue in my faith or not, what I have told you I have come to on my own accord, this is my faith.

PS: please note that I have no problem with atheists or members of other religions, I acknowledge that you do not need to be Catholic to be a good person, i simply find it helpful personally.

How can you explain how we bacame a part of existence? How can you believe in love, hate, anger, fear , or sadness. It's also something you learned from books too then right and an illusion of the mind. I believe in God because I feel him, there are many things that have happened in my life and my families life thta I truley believe we could not have survived through without him. And alot of people will argue and say how come I cant feel his presence then and you can. Maybe its becasue you dotn really believe in him. IDK what to say about the different kind of religion and which one to follow. I dont really believe in religion because it is man made. But GOD is not. But I am Christian. I would rather believe and find out there is not a GOD than not to believe and find out there is a GOD.

We know God is who He claims to be because He’s done what He said He would do. That’s the whole point of prophecy and why studying it is so important to us. It’s God authenticating Himself.

For 6000 years He’s been describing things before they happened, so when they did His people would know that He was telling us the truth. Everything He said would happen in the past has happened, so it makes sense to believe that everything He said would happen in the future will happen.

There are over 300 Old Testament prophecies, all of them a matter of public record hundreds of years before the fact, predicting the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. The abundance and specificity of these prophecies demolish any notion of chance, exceed the requirements of statistical analysis, and prove more conclusively than any other fact of history that Jesus is the Son of God. In fact there is more hard evidence to prove that He is Who He claims to be, than there is that you are who you claim to be.

This is the unique and truly beautiful thing about the Bible. It stands alone among the so-called Holy Writings of the world, in its self-validating ability. Only the Bible tells the future with 100% accuracy. God knew we would be skeptical, unbelieving children. So early on, He began telling us things in advance of their occurrence so when what He said came true, we would be willing to believe Him. In this way we can be assured that our faith is justified.

In fact in Isaiah 44:6-8 God challenged anyone who claimed to be like Him to a two part test.  Part 1 is to accurately recount the past and part two is to accurately proclaim the future. Only God, who knows the end from the beginning  can do this.

Anyone who will put aside their pre-conceived notions and undertake an unbiased study of Old Testament prophecy can prove God’s existence beyond a shadow of doubt within a few hours. As God had Isaiah write, “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.   I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.” (Isaiah 46:9-10)  No other so-called deity can make that claim.

When you study Bible Prophecy and World History side by side it doesn’t require much faith at all to believe the Bible. The evidence in fulfilled prophecy is just too overwhelming. But don’t take my word for this, try it for yourself. The truth converts emotion to logic, adds knowledge to zeal, and makes your faith unshakable. Someday soon that kind of faith might well come in handy.

The created order present in cosmology, biology, and science generally makes the creator God hypothesis seem reasonable even if we cannot test it in the normal scientific experimental way. It makes sense from a rational and philosophical perspective. Our craving for love and relationship with some greater being than ourselves could arise for a number of reasons. One very reasonable one is quite simply that God made us to find our deepest fulfilment in himself. Our moral character and the moral laws visible in wider society and history make sense of the God hypothesis.

I believe through faith and due to my personal relationship with God

the need to make themselves feel better about an existence better than this one. i wish god did exist then things would be so different but we are alone and have evolved on this planet and even christians know that but they "hold" on for whatever reason, they dont have one, they must hate life that much to believe in a fantasy world where they go and live in the clouds once they're dead.
