The thermostat is located on the back of the engine at the end of the upper radiator hose . The labor calls for 2.3 hrs. but it can be done in a lot less time if you have the right tools . The book says to pull the exhaust crossover but i have done them without that . The bottom bolt on the thermostat housing is slotted so you do not have to remove it all the way .
