What is the next edition to The Elder Scrolls likely to be (CALLING FORTH ALL NERDS)?

Elder Scrolls Online...

Yep, that exists... Or it will...

And I shall spend hours drueling over it...

And Because it's an online version, I'm hoping they'll include most of Tamrael...

I just want to se Elswyre...

Im not sure which will the next continent that they will make a game of, but this summer there will be a release of the new Skyrim DLC Dawnguard which features the returning of the Snow Elves e.g. Snow Elves are what Falmer were called before they went underground which eventually made them blind and they became known as the Falmer.

Also either late 2013 or early 2014 there will be a release of The Elder Scrolls Online, which will be an MMORPG which is based over the whole of Tamriel.

My guess: they'll do a 'weird' province like Elsweyr or Black Marsh. All the TES games so far have been in pretty 'normal', European-style, mostly-human provinces; the only sort-of exception is Morrowind, which was two games ago. And Skyrim is particularly 'typical', even involving stuff like giants and dragons. So I would venture that they'd try to make something different next time, something that showcases more of the unique aspects of TES rather than the dime-a-dozen pseudo-European medieval fantasy tropes.

But my girlfriend disagrees, arguing that gamers will struggle to accept a world that is not predominantly human.

as far as i know they aren't working on a new elder scrolls yet-they are putting together the dawnguard DLC for skyrim then probably couple more bits of DLC for that too. wouldn't be shocked if they started on a new fallout after that.

well it can't be in Hammerfell, since in ElderScrolls 2: Daggerfall, Hammerfell was featured.

they will most likely focus on the recently announced ElderScrolls MMO. But after that? I have no idea, it would be great to have a game focused on the homeland of the Khajiit, Elswyer I think is what it is called.

I hope it is in the usually unmentioned areas like the khajiit or argonian cities. that would be so cool!

Ooh, thinking about it, the Khajiit were human for the first 2/3 games.... maybe they would go back and show us the evolution or why they became cats or how or were they cursed by witches or whatever

there is also a elder scrolls online rpg that is in the making *this should be intresting to see how it turns out

No one knows yet they are still getting all they can out of skyrim with add ons so I say wait a year and then try again and then you'll know if a new one is coming out or not

I hope its valenwood, YOU PLAY AS THE WOODBORN, where your ancestors are trees, And you have wood shouts, and each shout spawns different types of wood, like Oak or Birkwood, that would be AWESOME.

And wood elves are the best race and you get to climb trees and get your ow treehouse and stuff!
