What are some songs that sound like the future?
I'm writing a book and need some inspiration; something that sounds like an alien space station. Like the Citadel in ME.
Songs I have in mind are something like "Spitfire" by Porter Robinson, or the more techno-like songs from Ghost in the Shell. Or just anything that makes you think of futuristic grandeur.

Well, it looks like you haven't really gotten any answers here, so I will give you some suggestions that aren't exactly exciting and action-y, but they are good neutral and future-sounding songs. Perhaps try the Deus Ex: Human Revolution soundtrack, or perhaps some of the new Tron's soundtrack. There is also some Matrix songs out there, so experiment bro. Cheers.
