I need Paintball Advice?

Question

I'm planning on buying Tippmann 98 Custom PS Paintball Gun Marker MEGA Set (http://www.amazon.com/Tippmann-Custom-Paintball-Ma... And then replacing the lenses in the mask with thermal lenses (http://www.amazon.com/Vents-SuperCoat-Antifog-Ther... I am a beginner in paintball and kind of on a budget. Any other suggestions ?

I was going to buy pads and all that stuff later. Im just talking about the basics.

Instead of Me getting the lens, I'll just get a mask that has thermal lenses for about 15 bucks more. I've heard anti-fog sprays don't work as good.

Packages like that are rarely worth while, you get cheap end items (like that crap mask) which aren't worth the money. You would be better of going to a paintball store and seeing what deal they can do you, most will be more than happy to mix and match to get a sale.
Unless you specifically want a  woodsball gun like the T98 look at getting a speedball marker, generally better on gas, quieter and more accurate out of the box.  The ER3 is a reasonably good starter

Other woods ball options would be a BT4, Valken, US Army etc. You can get a  a near identical BT4 package for about 155,

Also look at second hand kit, you may get an older but better spe'd marker for teh same price.

Decent package.  However, that lens will not fit the mask included with the package (GXG XVSN).  That lens only fits Invert Vents & Empire E-Vents masks.  There is no thermal lens available for that particular mask.

Anti-fog sprays generally work for most people, which would be your easiest option with that mask. Fog Doc is a pretty popular brand.

ok you definately dont choose that plenty while you're a noob. specific thay have Co2 on the places and bigger paintballs paintballs harm for like 2 seconds so u advise purely buying a gun, a helmet and thats approximately it. you could purely placed on like a sweater and ordinary boots and you would be wonderful. paintballing is soo plenty relaxing and im valuable you will like it yet you could definately decrease down on that checklist. valuable, you will see all the difficult adult adult males there with their automatics and physique armor, even although this is UNNESSCESSARY! and paintball paint purely comes off in the wash. wish i helped! :)
