what pokemon should i catch?
im playing pokemon fire red and im in vermillion city. i havent found any pokemon i like so i only have a wartortle. im planning to add a tauros and an aerodactyl later on when i can. i also want a magneton or raichu or another electric type. i want a pokemon i can catch in vermillion becuase i need some new pokemon NOW. wartortle wont be able to beat the gym on his own.

Hmm, thats a tricky one, theres not too many good ones. What i would go for is:
Either Nidoran, they evolve first at level 16, then you can evolve them straight into their 2nd evolution at level 16 using a moon stone.
Another option would be to get a Jigglypuff / cleafairy and evolve them using a moon stone (dont underestimate them they can learn a wide variety of TMs and have high HP once evolved)
If your lucky, you can also encounter a level 20+ dugtrio in digglett cave. Just search abit, that should be super effective against LT surge.

Catch a Mankey if you haven't beat Brock (since you have a wortortle I bet it was easy!) but you also want a fightning type youlle need it for other Gyms
