Everyone is going to have their own favorite hotel

Our favorite is Hassyampa Inn in Prescott - you can walk down to Whiskey Row for nightlife.

Room 426 is suppose to be one of the haunted rooms. It's suppose to be Faith's room - one of the guests who hung herself in the bell tower! We didn't stay in that room as I wanted a good night's sleep - ha.

We always stay here and love to hear the spooky stories from the front desk and the wait staff in the restaurant. They sell a book about haunted hotels (at the front desk) in which this hotel is featured. The book is

Sleeping with Ghosts! by Debe Branning (a guide to Arizona's Haunted Hotels and Inns

Our other favorite historic hotel (don't know if it's haunted or not) is La Posada Hotel in Winslow - a beautiful restored hotel. We've stayed here many times also.

Hotel San Carlos or The Monte Vista Hotel are both amazing places to stay and I swear they seem haunted!! I have stayed in The Monte Vista Hotel for my friend's party and it was insanely cool!!

The link at the bottom is some articles about why the hotels are haunted... have a good birthday :)

On one of the TV shows they have featured the Grand Hotel in Jerome Arizona. I've read a few stories that claim it is the most haunted in Arizona.

Also if your interested in Para normal things set something up with this guy before you come. And yes he is on the up and up and has been on many documentaries that deal with things like UFO and Haunted places

The prices aren't bad and he is the real deal

Take her to the Hilton suites at Central and Thomas. If you kick me $50, I'll put on an old bed sheet, and drag chains outside the hotel room all night long. Don't worry; I know the doorman and can get away with it.

Hey, for an extra $25, I can be a California ghost for you, and wander around saying things like "Totally Boo, man, totally boo!" and "Boo for sure!" or even a very haunting "DUUUUUDDDEEEEE!"

I would say it depends on the area of Arizona you want to travel to. But, I'll let you know, I've been a member of a local paranormal group in the valley for 3+ years and have stayed/investigated many of these places. I'll throw a ton of places out there...but save the best for last. : ) Good luck!

Jerome Grand Hotel is well known for its stories and has been featured on Ghost Adventures on Syfy. There's many stories I have from that town alone. http://www.jeromegrandhotel.com/

Hotel Monte Vista in Flagstaff if you want to go further north: http://www.hotelmontevista.com/hauntedhotel.php

Hassayampa Inn in Prescott is the site of tragic death in 1927 and has a ton of stories, including some from our group founder when it wasn't even expected. http://hotels.about.com/od/hauntedhotelsatoz/p/hau...

In the Phoenix area, Hotel San Carlos is your best bet and probably the most well known in the metro area: http://www.acrimony.org/article_haunted_history.ph... (I'll be there late June!)

Globe has a bed and breakfast called the Noftsger Hill Inn which used to be an old school. Your room is an old classroom and the entire place is awesome. (Rosalie, the owner, is fantastic!) Lots of fun happenings there. http://www.tucsonweekly.com/tucson/ghostly-encount...

For Tucson I would recommend the Hotel Congress, where the gangster John Dillinger was captured and the entire place is a trip back to the 1920's era (you have to be ok with small rooms and the smallest bathrooms...ever.) http://www.examiner.com/article/haunted-hotel-cong... Try for room 242 if at all possible, seeing the bullet hole which cause a death, still there to this day, is creepy in it's own right.

Further on there is both the Copper Queen and The Oliver House B&B in Bisbee that were on Ghost Adventures and are very well known: http://www.travelchannel.com/tv-shows/ghost-advent...

Lesser known is the Inn at Castle Rock in Bisbee...and I've got my reservations for their most active room that produces daily stories, for 1 1/2 weeks from now. :-) Can't wait! http://above-the-norm.blogspot.com/2012/04/bisbee-...

But, by far, if you are looking for something absolutely serious and completely insane...Tubac. The Tubac Golf Resort has the original Ranch House built in the 1800's available for reservations, but may need to be made far in advance. The original Otero family suffered a tragic loss of a young boy in the family who fell in a well outside (still there). I was there with some local radio names back in the fall. Oh, my, god. I have never witnessed so much stuff, had so many incidents happen, all within one night. Most of us there never slept for a second even after a day of driving down there and then driving back up to town that morning. Oh, the stories I have. It was absolutely insane...and I can't wait to go back.

Most of the incidents aren't publicly available for other reasons...but here's a very small idea of our night: http://phoenix-arizona-paranormal-society.com/Tuba...
