Mail from Yahoo has a purple logo on your inbox page listing

    To simplify things

NO ONE anywhere in life gets your password or pin numbers except you

This is why they are encrypted when you type them in.

Yahoo doesnt even want access to them.

It is always someone trying to get into your acct

    No exceptions

Also, never click on a link in an email that takes you to anywhere you have an account...and provides a log in page for you. Go there on your own to log in. People can easily make fake log in pages.

Why would they want to know your password? They already have it, and if you forgot it you provided security questions when you set up the account to show who you were, and can get a new password.

Look at the message origin in the e-mail you received, as that will probably show you that it did not really come from Yahoo.

This is a known phishing scam attempting to get you to give them all your personal info. It's not from Yahoo, just delete it and ignore it. Good luck and be careful.

NO!! Yahoo never asks for that sort of stuff. This is undoubtedly a scam. Do not click on it. Do not give them any information.

Big heap of smelly spam poo. If they've got your email, they've got all the information they currently need. Yahoo does not send out emails like that.
