My goldfish is not active at all after 2 days..?
we use to have 3 goldfish in same large tank; one died after 3 days; the other died after few months so we are left with one who we think is a bit of a bully. 2 days ago we decided to add another goldfish to it's tank and it pushed this little new one around and would not let it eat it's food. to save any more harm coming to it, next day we bought a new tank and put the little fish in it. It's still not happy, floats around at the bottom of the tank, not swimming or eating food. I know it's just a goldfish but my daughter chose it and wants to know why it is not active; to be honest it looks half dead! will it perk up..?

What size tank and filtration?
For now, 30% water change using a conditioner if you use tap and see if that helps a bit
No, it probably won't perk up as the tank wasn't cycled - without an established environment it's very stressful on the fish, the water becomes very toxic and the fish is susceptible to any number of illness/disease and quite often death
Have a read here about the nitrogen cycle

My suggestion would be to return the fish as soon as possible
It's already displaying advanced signs of being affected by its environment and the problem will only get worse with each passing day
Along with the nitrogen cycle prior to introducing the fish, tank size and filtration is key to keeping goldfish healthy and thriving
20g bare minimum for a single fancy with filtration rated for 40+ gallons
They're massive waste producers that need quite a bit of room and filtration
Standard goldfish (commons, comets, shubunkins) are pond fish, and as an adult one will need approx a 70g tank with double the filtration if not kept in a pond
Good luck

Well, I'm not a goldfish expert but I don't think your goldfish is dead but I did hear that sometimes goldfish do get lonely so maybe it would be a good idea to get another one. Good lucky and Im sorry to hear that.
