Period hasn't come and is a week late?

I've been really worried because my period should have come a week ago. i've had the usual cramps and breast tenderness i always get but no blood. I have not had any sex between the last time i had my period and now so i can't be pregnant. Is it normal to miss a period? even though i've never missed one before?

Update:

im 18 in a month so im not that young period wise so is it still normal?

As a teen this is not unusual. Hormonal problems, pregnancy, stress, eating disorders, excessive exercise, stress, physical illnesses, etc. are reasons you might miss a period. Remember if you are sexually active a missed period can be a sign you are pregnant. If there isn't a chance you are pregnant then don't worry about pregnancy. When you miss more than two periods in a row, you will need to see your health care professional.

    Hope this is helpful,

Don't Worry. This Is Just Your Period Regulating. Nothing To Worry About Because It Happens To Everyone. This Should Happen For 2-3 Months. But Again, Nothing To Worry About.
