How do you get rid of fungal spores when washing clothes including silks and wools?
I've had a fungal skin infection for a long time and I'm starting to think its not going away because of the spores on my clothes. My worst area is the groin. So what can you put in washing to get rid of them in clothes? I know hot water works which I do on bedding but my clothes are silk and wool, which would shrink them. I work in a clothes shop so I can't not wear this stuff. Please help as I've tried to get rid of this infection through changing my diet and putting creams on but it keeps coming back. It'll be 2 years soon since I've had this!

Soak affected clothing in 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water for half an hour or so then launder as usual. You can add about 2 drops of oil of cloves to soaking water, but the white vinegar should do the trick. Don't use any more than a couple of drops though. More is not necessarily better.
You can add 1/3 cup white vinegar to the rinse cycle too, if you want.
