That depends on the game, but mainly on the Game genre, and the quality of the commentary, even if its a bad player the video would be popular if the player is "funny" or the gamers can identify with
and there are games where if you speak you ruin the "feel" of it, do what you do best. if you are a good gamer do playtrough, (if über-gamer do speedruns) w/o commentary, if you are a good gamer and funny, do it with comments, and if you are only funny do a "let's play" videos
