No.
Akitas are on the "prohibited breed" list with every carrier I've ever worked with. They'll flat out cancel you, they won't raise your rates.

That can only be answered by reading your policy. Some companies limit the ban to Pit Pulls, Rottweilers and dobermans. Others have no ban or increase for a dog.
