According to a survey the most beautiful Hungarian words are:
pillangó - butterfly
édesanya - (sweet)mother
szerelem - love (we have this special word for the feeling of being in love)
békesség - peace (peace + ship)
hópehely - snowflake
szellő - breeze
cipőfűző - shoelace (foreigners' favorite)
my favorite: pöttöm - diminutive
