How do you get information on suspended license?

I'll try not to make this too long and drawn out, my mother and I got into a car accident in 1990 something, our car wasn't insured and as a result the judge suspended her license. we're in the state of Texas, and if I'm correct the laws of Texas state that after 10 years you can check to see if they have renewed the hold or if it's clean. her sister told her to go to the DPS office in our county take the case number and they would be able to give us all this info, but the thing is where we live the DPS people are not people you would exactly feel comfortable with laying everything on the table, for fear they might try to renew the hold. so my question is if anyone possibly knows any other route we could take or maybe some way we could get this information over the Internet? and avoid the unpleasant and possibly risky visit? you might ask what DPS center could be so unsavory? but trust me, if you lived here you'd get the idea. any advice is greatly appreciated,

I don't believe the information you are seeking is available online. I believe your only option is to contact the DPS. If you're not comfortable with your particular DPS office, have you thought about trying one in another county?

i do not imagine it really is a remember of "minding ones own organisation" ... i imagine it really is a remember of "whats solid for the goose is solid for the gander!" all of us ought to regulate to the guidelines that modify operating a motor vehicle on the roadways. If someone is suspended or revoked...there is an incredibly solid reason behind it. i do not favor myself or kinfolk on the roadways at the same time as there is the possibility of endangering them because of someones lack of ability to obey the guidelines of the line. driving a vehicle is a privilege no longer a properly! as far as reporting a suspended driver operating on a roadway...you need to consider the "urgency" of the decision. you could call your close by police branch to inform them of the moves of this suspended driver in hopes they're going to see the suspended driver operating the vehicle. I actually have 0 tolerance in case you look to imagine letting others smash the regulation is high quality at the same time as that's no longer! that is whats incorrect with our united states of america right this moment...we are so busy steerage sparkling of the themes...that's like burying our heads interior the sand hoping it received't impact our own lives. next time you note someone operating from the police...you could imagine the themes basically starting up at the same time as its YOU they run into at the same time as operating away at risky speeds! basically my humble opinion!
