What to eat for dinner to lose weight? Does this sound any good!?!!?

Grrrr! Why is dinner the struggle with weight loss? I mean, its hard to find meals for dinner. Can you have what you want? okay, does this sound any good to you? According to my calculations, here's what I just now scooped up. I think this is a good start for me. Eat healthy Breakfast, Lunch, and in between meals. then, when it comes to dinner, eat whatever you want BUT not too much of it. like, one of it. Like a small bowl of macaroni or a grilled brat on a hotdog bun with chicken with ketchup. Think of it like this, you've eaten healthy ALL day, so why not eat whatever for dinner without over doing it? but little of it. and could you add desert? or...ehh...maybe not. I need help guys, I want a healthy lifestyle! All answers would help. Btw, I am a 13 year old girl. I HATE my weight and I am not saying it. My friends and family don't think i am fat but i think I am I don't care how much muscle I have i have a feeling im fat and i hate it. :/ well anyways....thanks for yo answers..

I'm not an expert, but I do know that this is not going to work for you. Breakfast should be your biggest meal, lunch medium and supper small. Why? Because eating a big breakfast allows you to have lots of energy throughout the day with lots of time to work it off. Lunch should be medium to provide you with energy but not huge. Supper should be small because it's the last meal of the day and you probably won't be doing any intense workouts after except sleeping! Plus eating a small supper of junk food isn't going to fill you up and you're going to crave unhealthy foods the next day!

I know at your age you want to be skinny and pretty, but this is not achieved simply through eating healthy. While your diet plays a huge role in your overall health, it is not the only factor. You also need exercise. Instead of trying to change your diet in one day, you should try to make small changes so your body can adapt and you don't have cravings. I used to crave chocolate and junk food all of the time but now the idea of eating junk food isn't as appealing. Sure, I indulge myself with a piece of cake every once in a while, but not nearly as often as I used to.

Here's a few small changes you can make with your diet/exercise that will help you for sure:

-Drink more water! Not only does water clear your body of toxins, but it also contributes to weight loss because it has been proven that if you drink more water you will not feel as hungry.

-Walk/jog instead of being driven/taking the bus to school. Unless you live far out in the country you should be walking or jogging to school.

-Drink tea. Green tea can aid in weight loss and is packed with ingredients that prevent cancer!

    -Pack your own lunch

-Don't bring money to school. The vending machines can be very tempting. Remove the temptation by leaving the money at home. It's that simple!

-Find out what cardio workouts works for you. Not everyone is fit for running. Luckily there are tons of alternatives! Biking, swimming, walking, skiing and dancing are great ways to burn calories.

-Don't cut sugars, fats or carbs from your diet. The trick to maintaining a healthy diet is not to cut the sugars, fats and carbs from your diet, it's incorporating healthy sugars (fruits!), healthy fats (nuts!) and healthy carbs (whole grains!) into your diet.

-An apple a day keeps the doctor away!

-Instead of eating cereal in the morning, try having oatmeal or granola. **Bonus** Use almond milk instead of cow milk

-Eat dessert! You can definitely have junk food just keep it in moderation. Try eating healthy from Monday-Friday and having your favorite sweet snack on Saturday or Sunday. Moderation is KEY.

-Find a workout buddy! Someone who can motivate you definitely helps!

-Meditate! I know it sounds crazy but it's great. Although it's not used for weight loss, it can help reduce stress which can be a barrier when trying to lose weight. 10-20 minutes before bed is great. Look up "guided meditation" on YouTube for videos.

-Focus on how your feel, rather then the number on the scale. Many people give up on diets and exercising because they don't see results quick enough, but instead of focusing on the fact that you've been working out for a week and you haven't lost a pound, focus on the fact that you feel more energetic, you can focus more and your body feel better overall.

    Hope this helps! :)
