is there a WAN covering holland country ? and if so how to connect to it ?

I mean a national network (before going out to the internet) and who would be the administrative organization ??

Update:

yes .. but are there some national wide area network covering a country (for example holland) ? in other words how big is the network that connect to the internet ?? do we have discrete small LANs connected to internet separately OR do we have one large national network that connect to the internet once ??

WAN: WAN stands for Wide Area Network the WAN can basically be described as the network which attaches two or more LANs. While as far as the WAN is worried there are certain other functions a network will be known as WAN when its relationship passes across the restrictions of any country, country, urban or in other terms we can say that WAN technological innovation is more complex to that of the LAN which uses Routers and community interaction hyperlinks for interaction and the most typical example of the WAN technological innovation is the Online.

I would contact your ISP, they would be able to better answer your question. I don't know how things are setup in Holland, but generally how it works is you have one or more ISPs provide coverage for an area, which consumers (like you) connect to. They in turn connect to larger ISPs who supply them with access to other networks, and so on. The Internet isn't really a "thing", it is just a network of networks all connected together.

As to if Holland has a national WAN, I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were several WANs in your country.
