How are we all Romans?

I know we are not really all romans but culturally how?

    They left their imprint on society. We still have Roman numerals to this day. Many European languages still have Latin words at the root of them. We understand the concept of democracy from the Romans. In the US we have a Senate, like the Romans did. We learned how to redo what they had learned to do a long time ago, like make concrete and have plumbing. We learned battle tactics and since they loved all things Greek, math progressed because of the Romans love of anything Greek and their abilities in math. They had nomans or surnames and in 1200 ad that was reintroduced to Europe. It's more of what they left behind in writing and history that we learned much from. They sparked Christianity in Europe by the end of their Empire and that would stay until today.

    Yeah. The Romans were all originally Italian but leading back to the cave ancestors who were dark skinned by nature.
