What should the main character in a story I'm writing be?
The whole plot line and story is figured out in my head, but for the life of me I cannot think of what to make the main character. She'll definitely have the ability to read people's emotions, have visions of the future, and is very fast. Is that enough to think of what she could be? Please no werewolves or vampires, they're really over done. Thank you!

If you are looking for a simple label to give her, she can be a:
-Genetically altered human
-Angel (guardian, fallen, good, bad)
-Alien
OR, if you want something a little more complex, she can be:
-She can be part organic and part robotic. Like, part of her brain is like a computer processor so she is able to use more of it than the rumored 10% that normal people use. (And yes, this can also explain why she's so fast. Don't ask me how exactly, but i read somewhere that humans have the power to be a lot faster then we are and in this case it can have something to do with the brain)
-Or you can go back to the idea of genetically altered human and elaborate; everything about her is synthetically fabricated, right down to her DNA. I have no idea if that's even possible, but hey! It's a story :P So she is a test tube baby all the way.
-Or she can be a human anomaly. As in, she has no real "parents" because everything about her is organic. Like, a real person born from nature-- or even space matter if you want and no one knows why...
-Or you can go along with the angel idea! I recommend this because there is just SOO much you can do with this idea to make your own. You can make an angel council (search up the 9 classes of angels) made up of Dominions, Archangels and Thrones (<--- you`ll understand when you research the 9 classes) or you can make her a fallen angel who has turned away from God`d good graces to follow her own path etc. There are so many ideas that can spawn from angels :)

Personality: I'd make her not that friendly. If she can read minds, it would be scary having friends. Imagine if they found out! In my mind, she'd be clever-bored in class, very quick to get concepts. She'd be evasive. I'd make her appear really tough: the kind of person that insults just bounce off of, and isn't fazed by anyone. On the inside, however, she'd be sensitive, but unwilling to open up to anyone because of fear of being discovered. She would be a good fighter. She would be human, but maybe mutated or genetically altered.
Appearance: Short for her age, and skinny, pale with bright blue eyes and long raven black hair. She would have a dangerous, don't-get-near-me-or-I'll-hurt-you look.
