Can someone explain to me the catalogs for the music of Charles Ives?

Like Symphony No. 3 is apparently "S. 3 (K. 1A3)"?

The S. numbers come from the catalog by James Sinclair, while the K numbers are from the catalog by John Kirkpatrick.

For the symphonies and well-known works like Central Park in the Dark and Unanswered Question, these are kind of useless, but for most of his other stuff, like the various quarter-tone compositions, they are a little more useful.

I have never seen such cataloging numbers in relation to Charles Ives' music. Can you please direct us to where you saw them?
