Revert back from Windows 8 to Windows 7 help?

Hi so my friend told me that Windows 8 was amazing and that its better than 7... let's just say its not for me. I need to get back to Windows 7, i did the update thing so i kept all my media but changed from 7 to 8, can anybody here tell me how to revert back to 7?

in response to the last answer i have no issue with the retired humanitarian bill gates, my issue is with steve balmer who tried to ruin everything bill gates worked so hard to make.

    Format your hard drive and reinstal everything. Sorry.

    From Microsoft's own site: Important: If you decide to go back to your previous operating system, you'll need to reinstall it from the recovery or installation media that came with your PC, which is typically DVD media. If you don’t have recovery media, you might be able to create it from a recovery partition on your PC using software provided by your PC manufacturer. Check the support section of your PC manufacturer’s website for more information. After you install Windows 8, you won’t be able to use the recovery partition on your PC to go back to your previous version of Windows.

    Taking into account the amount of crap that installation leaves on your HDD, I'd consider cold reinstall after formatting the system logical drive (be careful, keep your personal files). This Win8 is too raw, no one knows what bugs you'll face if you revert to 7 using any other method.

    Hello there Michael.

    It would seem that your another one that's been conned by Microsoft. Anyone one who tries it is being used by Bill Gates to iron the bugs out and report it back to him so Microsoft can fix them for nothing. He's also made it so hard, if not impossible to revert back to win7 that he's hoping most will give up trying to revert and keep win8 until win8 is finally released and just change over. There's your answer. Don't trust Bill Gates.

    Unfortunately, my friend, there is NO revert back. The ONLY way you're going to get Windows 7 back is by reinstalling it. You do have the DVD and the serial number/code, don't you?

    Only one way. You need to boot from your original 7 OS disk and use the advanced option to delete all partitions and then create one new one to load on. You will need to back up all your files first as this loses them al. You will need to re-install all your programs.
