Can I use Paypal to receive payment without using a selling website (i.e. eBay or Amazon)?
I would like to sell something to someone on YouTube, but I would like to use Paypal to receive my payment. I looked up all the rules that ebay has and I feel unsafe sell on their stie. Please tell me how I can do this or give me a link to somewhere that can help me.
Thank You!!!
I can't meet the person face-to-face, because my items will be sold to people all over the US and in the UK and Australia.
If Paypal isn't safe that how should I receive my payment for and item sold online?

Hi, Paypal is a safe method to use. You could send the buyer either an Invoice or a money request directly from your account. You can also print the shipping label for the package here too.
Paypal does charge a fee, 35 USD cents per transaction plus 3%.
Do not accept personal checks or money orders from people you do not know. Both are easily forged.
Good Luck!

PayPal may seem safe but you don't want to sell something over the internet. They could give you a fake account that appears to have money in it when it does not.
Also, hackers are a really big problem. Hackers can hack into your computer and know where you live, where you work what media websites your are on all from a purchase from your Credit card or through a wired connection from your internet.
You should meet the buyer IN PERSON so you know who you are talking to. That way you don't get scammed. You can get their address and have them mail a check and you can send the item you are selling (if it's a small item) through the mail if its larger than a duffle bag it costs more to ship per lb. I'd suggest Fed-Ex. UPS damages peoples stuff.
To show you what UPS does have a look at this video:

Just be careful that you check your Paypal from the homepage because a lot of people outside the U.S. use phishing emails that look like Paypal but are fake. Unless the money is in Paypal for sure dont ship anything to them. EBAY has nothing to do with transactions that are not done through them.
