the sims 3 registration code?

so i've had a the sims 3 game. then i want to install the sims 3 town life stuff, but it can't work. so i uninstall-ed the game, then re install it again. but when i want to play it, it says "please enter your registration code" i clicked done, but it keep showing and showing. but the first time i installed the sims 3 game, it still works. how should i fix this? i really want to play my the sims 3 game so badly. so once again how should i fix this? thanks!

    HELP!!!!! I HAVE THE SIMS 3 STARTER PACK AND MY STEP BROTHER LOST THE CODE AND ITS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND IF U KNOW ALL THE CODES FOR THE STARTER PACK PLZZZZ ANWSER BACK:(

    thank you man iv had the game for years on my old laptop and lost the packet with the code inside but i did this a couple years ago with a code like this and hoped it would work again. so glad it does. thanks
