No vampires do not exist in reality.Vampires are just mythical(which means fantasy) un-dead corpses who subsist by feeding on the blood of the living.Although vampire-like creatures have been recorded in the folklore of many cultures, and may go back to "prehistoric times",the term vampire was not popularized until the early 18th century, after an influx of vampire superstition into Western Europe from areas where vampire legends were frequent, such as the Balkans and Eastern Europe, although local variants were also known by different names, such as vrykolakas in Greece and strigoi in Romania. This increased level of vampire superstition in Europe led to mass hysteria and in some cases resulted in corpses actually being staked and people being accused of vampirism.

While even folkloric vampires of the Balkans and Eastern Europe had a wide range of appearance ranging from nearly human to bloated rotting corpses, it was the success of John Polidori's 1819 novella The Vampyre that established the archetype of charismatic and sophisticated vampire; it is arguably the most influential vampire work of the early 19th century, inspiring such works as Varney the Vampire and eventually Dracula. The Vampire was itself based on Lord Byron's unfinished story "Fragment of a Novel", also known as "The Burial: A Fragment", published in 1819.

However, it is Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula that is remembered as the quintessential vampire novel and which provided the basis of modern vampire fiction. Dracula drew on earlier mythologies of werewolves and similar legendary demons and "was to voice the anxieties of an age", and the "fears of late Victorian patriarchy". The success of this book spawned a distinctive vampire genre, still popular in the 21st century, with books, films, video games, and television shows. The vampire is such a dominant figure in the horror genre that literary historian Susan Sellers places the current vampire myth in the "comparative safety of nightmare fantasy".Btw the tales of vampires did not come from Vlad Dracula(also known by his enemies as the impaler). The real Vlad Dracula has nothing to do with vampires whatsoever.

    Do Vampires Exist In Reality

There are people who like to call themselves vampires, but if you mean vampires in the classic mode of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, the answer is no.

This can be proven mathematically, too.

If a vampire's bit creates another vampire, then within a relatively short time vampires would increase exponentially, not lineally. All this means, folks, is that vampires would be created so quickly that soon there would be only vampires left--vampires with no food source, I might add.

It's like the old math trick of the miserly boss and the clever laborer--when hiring the person for a month,, he offers a flat pay of, say, a dollar a day. The laborer counter offers a slightly different plan.

Instead of a dollar a day, he suggests a dollar the first day, two dollars the next, four dollars the third day--each day the previous day's pay doubles. If you choose to amuse yourself by using a pocket calculator to figure this out, you'll never get to day thirty because most pocket calculators don't have the capacity to hold the number that it reaches in thirty days, so I'll just tell you that on day seven, his boss will have to fork over $124, and $248 on day eight--hope he's got an enormous cash flow!

There are people who believe that they are vampires and experiment with biting and drinking blood. But as far as i'm concerned, it's a mental disorder. People can get so absorbed in fictional stories and fantasy worlds that they confuse them with reality.

People who drink other people's blood by biting them call themselves Vampires. These people are real! But they're quite mental. They actually enjoy drinking others' blood.
