approximately 2 days in the past they launched a jailbreak for all iDevices working the A-4 chip (iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G, etc etc.), yet no longer for iDevices working the A-5 chip (iPhone 4S and iPad 2). Judging via the time it took them to JB the A-4 gadgets i'd say it is going to likely be a minimum of two-3 weeks till a working untethered JB for the A-5 gadgets is out.
