re useing pickled egg jar vinegar?
pickled eggs are getting pretty expensive now could i boil some eggs and place them in the jar when its empty obviously useing the vinegar thats in it still

Should not be a problem. You may want to add a bit more brine or "pickling juice" a bit of salt, sugar water and vinegar. Heat the water until the sugar and salt dissolves. Add vinegar to taste and pour that over the eggs in the jar. Add desired spices. Pretty much all you will need is to add more liquid. As you use pickles you can also add the juice from the pickles to the jar of eggs.
(toss in some canned beets or young little ones you have boiled. You will have tasty pickled beets as well as pink pickled eggs)

No problem. I have some eggs in a jar of pickle juice right now. I re-use brine all the time.

Source(s): Long line of chefs and German bakers. Any sauce with vinegar in it will last longer, much beyond it's expiration date. they just need to post it for legal reasons, vinegar is awesome,,, did I already say that???
