Help finding a Laptop for $500 or less?
Im trying to look for a Laptop that I can use as a replacement for my desktop. I would need to find one that I can watch movies, download music and for photos and quick web browsing as well. A nice looking laptop would be a plus but not necessary. I would also need at least 500gb on there as well. Again looking for a laptop for under $500 $600 max. All the help would be sweet.

Stay away from laptops with Intel Graphics, and stay away from laptops with 6 GB of RAM. In that price range you can do much better for graphics, and laptops with 6 GB of RAM are incapable of running in DDR mode (DDR mode requires matching sticks of RAM and there are no 3 GB sticks of RAM).
Try to get a laptop with an AMD A6 or A8 processor that is at least 2 GHZ. These processors adjust their speed according to your usage, which helps keep the processor cool and extend its life. Additionally these chips come with built in Radeon graphics, which is much better than Intel.
Get an HP if you can. They currently come with Beats audio, which sounds a lot better and louder than the sound that typically comes with laptops in this price range.

Under $600 for a laptop? That's an op shop buy when you don't have any money to spend on the good quality computers which don't last for a very long. Usually when those electronics go to the op shop they are often not tested so please do not waste your money on that. Can get good cheap USB sticks though for other computer. However, check the Sony website I would think that is the cheapest electronic company.
