Should high school girls be allowed to play basketball and cheerlead at the same time?
The school in my community is very small. A few of the young ladies in high school would like to attempt to play basketball and also cheerlead during the boys basketball games. The seasons co-incide exactly. Both activities require a lot of practice and practices for both events would be taking place at the same time. Should our school ban girls from doing both or should we leave it up to the individual girls to decide whether they want to attempt to do both at the same time? If we don't allow the girls to do both, one of the activities will be very short on personnel.

i'd definately communicate to your coach. Be calm basically clarify to him which you're concered for the welfare of the gang. Make him responsive to your information and tell him you would be happy to learn a sparkling posistion yet you sense based on your information which you will greater advantageous the gang via enjoying submit. If I have been you i'd ask somebody else to be interior the room for the time of the communique just to be a mediatior. perhaps the JV or the college coach! good luck this season!!
