A question regarding my computers hardware?

Today I reinstalled Windows 7, and after all the updates were installed I went to my Device Manager to make sure that Windows recognized all of my hardware, but I noticed something strange. One piece of hardware called "SM Bus Controller" did not have a driver. What is it and why doesnt it have a driver?

Update:

I need to clarify something. I have an ASUS motherboard, is it possible to have an Intel chipset? Just want to make sure that I NEED to download this driver.

SMBus is the System Management Bus used in personal computers and servers for low-speed, system management communications. A SMBus controller is integrated into most Intel® chipsets.

Download the driver using the website below.

Edit: "I need to clarify something. I have an ASUS motherboard, is it possible to have an Intel chipset? Just want to make sure that I NEED to download this driver." - Yes and yes.

The System Management Bus, or SMBus, is essentially a wire on a computer's motherboard used to transfer information between the processor and various peripheral devices. to fix this go to: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/cs-013541...
