How can I get my mom to put me on birth control?
I'm 16 and me & my boyfriend are planning on losing our virginity's to each other this summer. I told him I was on birth control (i'm not).. because he didn't want to use a condom. I was planning on getting birth control a few weeks before we had sex. I can always take the "morning after pill" if I don't get birth control but I'd rather not get pregnant. But how can I ask my mom?

Well, try to get on the pill a month before you have sex. You need to take a full pack before it starts working, and it will probably take some time for your body to get use to it. The morning after pill is not cheap, it is around $40, so you can't just take that every time you have.
You need to be honest with your mom. Just say you would like to go on birth control, you don't need to say anything about having sex, she will probably get the hint. If she says "No" say, "Mom, I like to be responsible, I don't want to be teen mom, I know you don't want me to be one either. I think it would be best if I went on the pill" I am sure your mom will help you, and probably be happy that you asked. I would feel proud of my daughter if she was brave enough to ask me for birth control, and I would feel like a good parent for raising a responsible daughter.
And I don't mean to lecture you, but make sure you are making the right choice to who you are losing your virginity to. 16 is pretty young, but if you feel you are ready, and if he loving, and you know you won't regret it, just make sure you are safe.

First of all, you should use a condom as well. Birth control can fail. I know someone who got pregnant 2 different times because her birth control failed. I remember in health class one year, our teacher put a condom over a juice bottle, demonstrating how much it can stretch. If it can fit over that, your boyfriend can wear one.
As for telling your mom, I know it can be awkward, but she'll probably be happy you're being mature and responsible. Tell her that you and your boyfriend have thought this out (I assume you have) and you're both ready, but you want to make sure you have safe sex, and would like to get birth control. She might be upset/angry at first that you're having sex, but she'll probably come around, since I doubt she wants you to become pregnant.

No, even when you're on birth control you need to wear a condom still. The doctor will tell you the same thing, birth control can fail. If you can't take care of a baby, use protection properly. If you get the right condom and wear it correctly it wont effect how the sex feels.
Just tell her you're sexually active and want to be protected.
