My laptop keeps dying. Whats wrong with it?

I use it for half an hour then suddenly it just dies. I have to restart the whole thing another half an hour and its dead again. Sometimes it dies within ten minutes of rebooting. This happens even if its on charge.

Please advice. Thankyou.

It may be overheating. Make sure all the air vents, especially those underneath are not blocked.

Look for a buildup of dust on the fan if you can see it. If there is some there, there may also be some on the internal heatsink. Get someone who knows a bit about IT to blow the dust from the fan and heatsink.

So does mine, I figured out, if it gets too hot underneath it, I move it onto another surface- always works. :D Or try a technician or the company where you bought it from, that's if your warranty hasn't expired yet. Or it could just be old age and the poor thing needs to be buried..LOL xD

Open it up, blow the dust out.

Don't cover the vents, use a flat surface.
