Is this an allergic reaction to veet wax?

My friend has been using 'Veet' wax for over a year now. Her skin did not react.to it at all

Just recently she used it and immediately that area has become dry and tingly.

Has this ever happened to you?

They may have changed the formula but it is possible to become allergic to anything at anytime.

I'd stop using it if it becomes painful

You could be allergic but might not be. That happens to a lot of people whose hair removers because that stuff is so strong. Its kind of like razor burn I guess. Your skin may turn red after waxing, and some people develop small red bumps where they waxed, depending on skin sensitivity.
