What would dressy casual be?

I have an "audition" at cold stone cremery today and the lady told me to dress dressy casual can anyone give me some examples of what I could wear I don't want to be too dressed up for it .

    Alex is right.

    You don't want to wear jeans or shorts. If you have khakis or other trousers/slacks, those would be perfect.

    You could either wear a button-down shirt, a polo shirt (like a T-shirt with a collar), or a sweater (not made out of sweatshirt fabric).

    Khaki pants, a plain white or blue button-down shirt, loafers.

    Dressy casual would be a button down shirt and some slacks.
