If there is a Spurs vs Heat Final, who would you root for and why?
I would root for the Miami Heat to win that series because I hate the San Antonio Spurs.
Chris Bosh may not be returning to the Heat during the playoffs so this may throw a wrench into their championship hopes.

Easy...Spurs!
This is a game about Old School basketball vs New School. A team of sharing, humility, and coaching, against a team of individual proficiencies, stardom, and athletic theatrics. I'm not much of a fan of the Spurs but watching them dismantle Thunder in game 1 almost made me shed a tear. The unselfish plays, and the good shots reminded me of the Old Celtics or the Old Lakers. Wow!! That is all I could say. I have never witness basketball with such poetic structure since, well never because I'm only 25 years old.
Basketball has turned into Michael J./Scottie P. or Lebron J./DWade. Which brings up the old age question, "Who is the next Chicago Bulls?" Pete Maravich, Reggie Miller, and Allen Iverson just to name a few have crossed paths with the NBA only to stop for a short time without winning a championship, yet they will always be remembered for how they played the game. These days the quest for a championship is so strong that players will do anything for their first championship. They don't care how it happens, they are willing to part from fans, and betray their morals. They do it for individual greed, stardom to achieve what Michael Jordan had. Basketball was once about the teams success, moral education, and love for the game.
If the Spurs vs Heat dual it out for the Championship I will not only watch it but record it on an OLD VHF tape, because that series will predict what direction the NBA will go. Old School vs New School, its going to be a good series but I want the Spurs to win, because I would like to show and tell my kids one day that unselfish passes and team chemistry is more important, than selfishness and individual proficiency. I want more games like the Old Celtics, Pacers, Lakers and even the Old Bulls. I want it to be fun to watch. Spurs win...Because they need to, even if the league doesn't value what the Spurs mean to basketballs future.

I'll go with the Spurs. This team is Great, No wonder they will pass the Thunders in WCF, it's not just the big three who bring the Spurs up in every single game, but the whole team, Leonard is there, Splitter, Diaw, Jackson etc. they're not selfish with the ball, they give each other a chance to shot into the basket. And also I respect the Spurs, because, as we all know, they came up short during the last year playoffs, right? then there goes, the Thunder, Miami, Mavs, Chicago trending in Basketball world, The Spurs remain silent for five years, I think. What I mean is that, They gain they're respect again as one of the most Feared NBA team, in this year season, 20 streak wins since NBA Season. Dafuq? Well, I'm excited with the finals, but I bet, Spurs will take their Fifth Title :))))

no i think of its a stable element- in the beginning you beat the warmth interior the finals final year so why could you % them to win it this year- and additionally the two communities are interior the comparable state- its like the Giants triumphing the superbowl this year- the Jets followers could root for the Giants and not the Patriots for notably comparable reasons as this one- dallas has a contest with san antonio, yet respects them meanwhile they hate the warmth- comparable situation, distinctive interest

I'd Root for the spurs. And "heats" isn't a word. That's one way to spot a bandwagon fan.

I would root for the Spurs because I've met several of their players and they're all classy individuals who don't talk smack and are very active in the local community.
