Alfanso Soriano to the Orioles?

I've been watching Intentional talk, and they were talking Soriano and if the Cubs should trade him.

IF The Cubs were to want to trade him, do you think the Orioles Would be interested? Right now they have Nick Johnson as there DH...

That's certainly a possibility. The O's need a DH.Soriano can still hit the ball, and I think he would produce more at DH. The question is with his contract though. The O's would probably want the Cubs to eat most of his contract like what they did with Zambrano. If they can work things out, this would be a good trade for the O's. And the Cubs could put LaHair in a corner spot in the outfield and put the prospect Anthony Rizzo at first.

The only was the Cubs will be able to move Sorry-ano is if they eat the bulk of his contract, and I'm not sure if that's something the owner will do. It NEEDS to be done, but there's no indication that he will.

there are going to be very few teams actually interested in him due to all the money they have to pay.

I think they would be interested in Soriano, but only if the Cubs pick up most of the money left on his contract.
