What do you think is up with my friend?

Despite my Yahoo name I'm a guy. I'm 5'6" and I range between 140 and 145 lbs. According to the ideal height/weight chart I am in good shape. He has told me on various occasions that I am stick thin and should put on some weight. He's about the same height but he weighs about 185 lbs. We are both straight. Just saying.

Update:

I'm very sure he's straight. I'm just sort of wondering if he really believes what he is saying since it's completely inaccurate.

I think he is either 1) joking when he says your stick thin because he's bigger than you. 2) he's saying you should hit the gym more, u need a little muscle. Or 3) he wants u to be as big as him because he can't be as thin as you. I'd honestly just not worry about it. I'm sure he doesn't mean it in a bad way. Just ask him about it sometime when he asks u again. Be like why dou always say that? Just don't sound mad when u ask, he most likely won't tell u the truth if u do. My bet is that he's kidding

Are you sure he's straight? Sounds like jealousy. Maybe girls like you better. He sounds insecure about himself so he is projecting those insecurities on you. Talk to him about it, maybe he's just messing around like guys do....
