Why do my Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 projects export in slow motion?

I don't know if it's my 10 year old computer (We've upgraded the RAM and the graphics card though) but whenever I try to export any Premiere projects with HD content in them to a video the audio remains at normal speed, but the video is significantly slower and it lags forward randomly.

These are my exporting settings:

Format: QuickTime

Range: Entire Sequence

Preset: Custom

Video Codec: H.264

Quality: 100

1920x1080, 29.97fps, Progressive, 24 bit - Color

AAC, 48 kHz, Stereo

(set Bitrate is off)

(Deinterlace is on)

Any help would be appreciated.

Update:

Yea.. haha I think the best option would be to simply buy a new computer.. I've tried lowering the quality all the way down to 50 and even then the video is still delayed.

Lower the quality to 95 or even 90. 100 is overkill.

Processing videos takes some processor muscle. Medium-fast, multi-core processors which operate at 7200rpm are minimum requirements. At least 4 Gb of RAM are OK but 6 Gbs or more are better. A 10 year old computer is probably huffing and puffing to get a Premiere Pro job done no matter how much RAM or free HD space you have.

When is the last time you cleaned out your internet temp files? All the little things that are stuck into the nooks and crannies on the HD add up after a few years.

It will have to be moving alongside simply fine with these specs. I've run most suitable with a whole lot less and it is been reasonable. OS/program disorders could be the simplest thing preserving it back.
