my gtx550 ti wont fit in my case?

the bottom bit of the i/o is big (it sticks out to much) so it wont let the card go into the pci slot, could i cut that bit of it off without affecting the card?

Update:

it was my case massively cheaped out on it there was no holes for the end of the card

    Do not go hack sawing the end off your brkt, look at it carefully it will go in, well ive never known a card not fit that way, i have had to slightly bend it a bit so slides in

    Im guessing you mean the metal bracket at the end,it shouldn't have any effect unless its connected.

    Which exact model do you have?
