It depends on the level of severity. If there's blood and constant ardor go to the ER right now (hopefully you have insurance?)
If it is mild try using over the counter medication at Walgreen, and eat yogurt (this helps with the bacteria that causes the yeast infection, if none of these things help visit a gynecologist.
Ask your partner to be clean before you have sex, not excessively but fairly, and pee after every intercourse to prevent them. If you don't use condoms, clean yourself well after sex.

Go to your local pharmacy and buy the pill and cream duo. I recommend Canestan but any kind of yeast infection cream duo will work. If not it doesn't heal within a week, then go to your doctor.
