what is the traditional men and women dresses past and current in japan?

    I do believe for men it was Haori's and for women it was Kimono's and Yukata's for special occasions. present day I do believe they have adopted alot of western fashion, but as with any culture there are different trends. I do believe some women in present day still do wear Yukata's and Kimono's for special events.
