Which computer operating system do you favor?
Which computer operating system do you use on your home computer? Windows 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS, Linux, or something else?

I usually use this laptop, which runs Vista. My old desktop runs XP.
I'm far more familiar with Windows that any other OS, so I'll probably continue using it for a while. However, from what I've heard of Windows 8, I may not want to have anything to do with it. My next system will most likely be a Windows 7 system, but once they stop publishing Windows 7, I'll probably end up moving to Linux (most likely Ubuntu). That's a while in the future though.

Windows 7 because it's what I know best and with the specs I have is far superior to Vista and XP.
If I was objectively comparing these OS I would say OS X lion was the best simply because it is the fastest especially after you learn it's organization. But I'm too lazy to learn.

I like Windows 7. It is easier to operate than Vista and you get the added bonus of Microsoft backing you up.

I think that ANYTHING is better than Windows Vista. I do, however, prefer XP, but I have Windows Seven on this laptop which is good as well.

I've always used windows. Windows 7 is nice.. followed by XP.

On my eee pc 1005: xubuntu 12.04
On my son's acer laptop: Windows 7 (for him) and ubuntu 10.04 (for me)
On my desktop: ubuntu 10.04
On my secondary old desktop: xubuntu 10.04
So I guess it is obvious I prefer ubuntu based linux distros
