Bubble License Plate Covers???! Yes or No?!?
I have a White Cobalt 2 door and white cars esp look really nice with the Bubble License Plate Covers. I am considering on getting them for my car to keep my plates in good shape. However, I heard that some states do not allow them because they impair the reflective ability of the plate.
Can anyone find the laws for 2012 or most recent laws for the state of Missouri? I see so many people in Missouri that live by me with them. But am curious if Missouri really allows them or if people just do it anyways and get ticketed for them without taking them off.
Thank you(:
I think they are worth the 8$ but want to keep my car not a main target for Cops. I have tinted windows but on the front, I went 35% because that was the limit. So my windows have caused no problems! I have a spoiler and sunroof too.

"Each such plate may be encased in a transparent cover so long as the plate is plainly visible and its reflective qualities are not impaired."

I think you should be in good shape if the plate cover goes around the plate and not covering the plate. From my understanding some people will get pulled over for having a tinted license plate cover but I've never heard anyone getting pulled over for one that goes around the license plate.

That plate duvet would no longer be legal in big apple (you didn't tell us what state's laws follow, so I used mine). The regulation applying to license plates states that the quantity plates might not be blanketed via glass or "any plastic fabric". See section 402 b in sources. Legal guidelines for your state perhaps exceptional.

I don't think you have to worry about a Cobalt being a main target for cops.
