I don't know if this is true, I thought
The two kids running around were Blake and his brother, and then when one of the boys went away, the horse that came was his soul...
That's how I interpreted it.

I just know its about Blake's brother...the white horse might just be a symbol of peace and the children could be a symbol of how close Blake and his brother were
