The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Dawngaurd DLC Story?
This summer the DLC 'Dawngaurd' is being released, as I am sure you all know. I know the focus is on vampires, but it also mentioned new dragons. I have yet to finish the Skyrim main story and want to know if I will be able to play the DLC after I have finished the main quest. Without giving ANY spoilers, will the ending of Skyrim (i.e, Dragonborn banishes the dragons) prevent me from playing Dawnguard?

After you beat the game, you can still have fun killing dragons and taking their souls so yes you will be able to play the new DLC, in fact I believe that Bethesda would expect some players to finish the main questline before you get the DLC. That doesn't mean you have to beat the storyline before this comes out but Bethesda knows that many players have finished the storyline already.

I'm a Big Fan of Dragon Armor; Fortunately for the Dragonborn...You can never have to many Dragon Scales and Bones.
Dragons out live Vampires in my game because I like Meridia hate the undead...I've killed all of the large covens of Vampires.

No it will not prevent you, and dragons are still around even after you beat the game
