Good laptop for a student?
I'll be a sophomore in high school this coming school year, and I'm realizing how helpful it would be to have a laptop. I want a fairly nice one, so I won't have to purchase a new one for college. I don't really play games a lot, but I want a good processor. I'm looking for something around $500. Any suggestions?? Links would be VERY helpful. Thanks! :)

The laptop has to have great battery life and performance. And price is sometimes a concern, so the above features need to be packed into an affordable package.

Not to be mean but don't listen to Kaitlyn if you want a good one: I suggest an HP or Asus with an i5 processor and about4 GB of ram
