Do I sound like an oddball to you?
-I am a girl, I am a hardcore gamer, and when I'm hooked on something, I'll play it for days on end.
-I read about history, politics, and geography in my spare time. I'm addicted to searching up news stories on the internet.
-I dress up a lot more often than most people for occasions generally not considered to warrant it. I'm almost always the one who's overdressed. See these pics for examples of things I've worn:

-I send messages to people, but they rarely respond (especially not if they're girls who went to my high school or Jr. High). For more about this, see here:

-I'm quiet, but sociable. I'm not involved in anything, but people still know me. I'm studious, but not an overachiever. I don't give a f-ck about etiquette outside of basic things, and I speak my mind. I'm not confident in myself at everything, but when I really want something I'll go for it.
-I say some unusual things and I use big long words like "disheartening", "pedantic", "posthumous", etc.
-I feel proud when people use any of the following words to describe me: "weird", "creepy" (in a good way, not in a stalker way), "odd", "awkward", "eccentric" (my personal favourite), "different". =)
-I am a cynical misanthrope who finds everything annoying and depressing. I know, I know, "misanthrope" one of those "big long words" I talked about above. Look it up if you want to know what it means. =P
-Time for some more fancy words - I have a certain "penchant for the macabre", so to speak. I like works of art that are dark, morbid, psychologically tormentuous, and just downright gloomy. I use the term "works of art" loosely - for me, it can be music, stories, drawings, paintings, video games, architecture, etc. Among my favourite "works of art" in that sense are as follows: Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, The Legend of Zelda series, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VIII, Catcher in the Rye, Dracula (the novel), Bully (A.K.A. Canis Canem Edit), Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Schindler's List, The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, Penn & Teller's Bullsh!t, South Park, the remake of the original Resident Evil for the GameCube, Resident Evil 4, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, L.A. Noire, Night (Elie Wiesel's account of life as a Hungarian Jew in a concentration camp), The B@stard of Istanbul (Elif Shafak, a Turkish novelist), Speak (novel by Laurie Halse Anderson), Saving Private Ryan, The Sixth Sense. I can't think of any more at the moment, sorry. =/
-I'm a really easygoing person who never lets anything get to her, even if I do find everything annoying (as stated above). Everyone else is panicking over something? Not me. Someone's screeching at the top of their lungs over something I didn't do or a mistake I made? I tell them politely to chill out. I guess you could say I'm a natural pothead.
Would you ever have guessed I was like this based on your first impression of me?
@Sassmasta from Doncasta - Yes, but it was worded differently. Whatever. If people find it annoying, they can do what I do - ignore it and move on with their lives. ;)
@Suzy Q - No, I don't want to hear that I'm normal. I want to be weird as old hell. In case you missed it, that's the source of all my pride.
@LOLOLOLOL - LOL
I'm not that serious. Trust me. =)

No, you sound pretty cool. Maybe a little bit serious and dark, but still much better than people that can't find their own country on a map.
Besides, liking Skyrim is an automatic thousand point bonus.
EDIT: When I say serious, I mean in a good way. Like you have an interest in serious topics like history and politics, I like discussing history and politics too but not that many people our age do, so its pretty cool.

Yes, because women who like video games are very rare. Let alone hardcore gamers.
Everything else you wrote down is not odd at all.
